I honestly thought this one had been smothered for good, so I was really stoked to see its bright red face shine against all the greenery. #scizostylisoregonsunsetCleanup day at the #communitygarden today. Harvested the very last of the tomatoes, and rejoiced over how much space was freed up when I pulled the plants. Yay! In other news, Sweden has a newly appointed #nationalflower . It’s little #campanularotundifolia which is adorable. It was chosen through a vote, and though I wasn’t part of it, I wholeheartedly support the outcome. Such a dainty but tough plant! For me, it brings to mind running barefoot over grassy meadows, and picking flowers to make Midsummer wreaths. Good choice, Sweden! 🇸🇪Enjoyed these pretty mums in line at the grocery store today. Tempted, of course, but so rarely home to enjoy them, I decided against it. Still thinking about them, though…#datiscacannabina flower towering high over my head.Boning up on my decorating skills in the front yard. Not done yet, but working on it. Found this fabulous crown @lippmancompany . Such a great #portlandinstitution !!Dinner on the outdoor patio of our fab neighborhood joint #casazoraya is always festive and immensely delicious. Happy Anniversary to us! ❤️🥰❤️
